The attached photo was taken by Johan Retief on Monday 15 December 2014, at approximately 22h36. The comet is currently in the constellation Puppis. It is in an attitude where the head of the comet points towards earth and the tails stretches out away from the Earth, click on the following website to view the comet’s location relative to Earth.

Details of photo: Telescope 100/900mm refractor, Camera Canon 550D in prime focus, ISO 1600, exposure 12 sec, 25 light frames and 13 dark frames. Stacked with Nebulosity.
It should be visible in binoculars, I viewed it with the telescope at 20 x magnification and found it easy to see.
